FRP sculpture wood model

The wood used for making molds includes Korean pine, gingko, Chinese fir, etc. the water content is required to be up to 15%, and it is not easy to shrink and deform without knots. After the wood mold is made, it can be coated with resin (surface putty) with a thickness of 0.2 ~ 0.3 garbage, polished four times from coarse to fine with sandpaper, polished with 800# or 1000# sandpaper for the last time, coated with polishing paste, polished with a polisher, and then marked with paraffin. The wood mold can also be directly painted and polished to make the wood mold.

The tensile, flexural and compressive strength of some epoxy FRP can reach more than 400MPa.

FRP is a good corrosion-resistant material. It has good resistance to atmosphere, water, acid, alkali, salt of general concentration, as well as a variety of oils and solvents. It has been applied to all aspects of chemical anti-corrosion and is replacing carbon steel, stainless steel, wood, non-ferrous metals, etc.
